Realized I forgot to post this here. Since posting on FB a couple days ago, multiple people have also come forward with stories of sexual assault and predatory behavior by this man. Fuck Adrian Sullivan.

Last night’s vigil in Madison, honoring the lives of Sam Nordquist and Tahiry “Tokyo” Broom, 2 trans folks tragically murdered earlier this month. It was very cold out & a solemn occasion, but it was still nice to join with other trans folks and allies in honoring and standing up for trans rights 🏳️‍⚧️

Sharing more about my trans journey as they continue trying to erase us:

Although, at the time, I didn't have the words for it, and I definitely didn't understand what was going on with me. I just remember realizing that I had never really felt like a girl.
‘Tomboy’ was the term everyone used for me, but I could tell it was deeper than that - to the point that I asked myself if I was actually supposed to be a boy. I panicked, assuming there was something wrong with me. I eventually realized that I also didn't feel like I was a boy, either, although I did feel less repulsed by the idea of being a boy than I was by being a girl. Either way, I still felt so much confusion and shame about it, and didn't dare tell a soul.”

There weren't exactly a lot of queer folks around (at least openly), and the extent of my knowledge about anything LGBTQ+ was simply that gay people exist... which I only learned about when classmates kept calling me a lesbian. I didn't know that trans or non-binary people even existed.
While I did try being myself for awhile, wearing boy's clothes and cutting my hair short (as you can see in the photo), it didn't take long before I started trying to appear more feminine due to bullying and societal/parental pressure. I wore dresses when what I really wanted was a nice suit and boy-tie.”

Just the kind of shit trans and non-binary folks have to deal with, which has increased significantly recently. The wild part is I was assigned female at birth so I’ve never had a “girl dick” or any other kind of dick. Why are they so obsessed with my genitals?
