Honestly if someone can't distinguish your faces from one another, that kind of feels like a skill issue on their part..

Can't speak for electro specifically but I've heard its the same/better effectiveness than laser, and that worked *miracles* on me (so long as you have darker hair)
Went from having to shave every day and still having shadow after a few hours to maybe shaving once every few weeks to stave off fuzz

I went through most of my life practically adrift and devoid of any personhood, and it would have killed me if I didn't listen to what my body had to say about itself

The more corporate the Fandom becomes, the more sanitized it will end up. Selling partials at spirit halloween isn't gonna kill the fandom, but the more space we give outside organizations the less room people have go create within it.

On the meta end, I think it's fucking awesome that every print, pin, and furry piece of clothing, I could trace and find the exact artist who made them, many of which I bought directly from an artist at a con. Diluting that experience threatens to harm one's connection to the Fandom as a whole imo

To me there's not a whole lot of difference between mass produced suits like this and AI when it comes to the "feel" of heads like this. They're broadly disconnected from any kind of artist and in that way feel a bit hollow
(AI being theft does make it far worse, just gives the same feeling there)

I'd never disparage someone for buying one, but broadly allowing rather important parts of core expression be commercialized would damage the community, primarily artists (of who the community is primarily built around). It's not the end of the world imo, but it's not a good sign

For the more pressing argument, mass produced masks will push out some suit makers, even if the quality is shit. This has been proven time and time no matter how many times people say it'll be different, a significant portion of end consumers do not care as much about quality, even for furries
