In what sense do you mean it’s meaningless? You say you don’t know what it means to “measure” a dead cat but isn’t it that photons will interact differently with a cat that is dead and alive and you’re measuring this entangled state in both cases?

Not being able to give a definition for something is a hall mark of it being emergent. e.g. it’s hard to give a definition for a chair, yet chairs certainly exist. Also ofc MW is a theory it states that Schrödinger is always obeyed, the interaction with relativity doesn’t make it any less a theory

The problem with the former infinites is that they appear in the place of quantities we can go out and measure to be finite. Whether time is infinite in both directions is an open question. So the latter infinites aren’t ruled out by the data.
