Most people we think we know we are in disbelief when they are accused of doing something out of our realm of possibility it has nothing to do with idolization its familiarity but that goes out the window once it becomes multiple accusations i.e. OJ simpson
I was just thinking—what if someone like Denzel Washington or Michael Jordan actually robbed someone? Would people even believe it if it were true? It really makes you think about the effects of idolization, celebrity culture, and how we perceive public figures.
