Last night was amazing. My 7 year old daughter noticed it and immediately asked if we could get the binoculars for better view. She was right to grab them. Beautiful sight and I was one proud papa.

I read the same and you’re right they can’t change policy for one gulf regardless of how asinine and racist this is. Hopefully il duce arancia is gone in 4 years and Google can restore its proper name.

1st your broad claim people will say adolescents will commit suicide is a straw man fallacy. As a skeptic you should know this. 2nd can you provide links to those studies? If not you should be familiar with Hitchen’s Razor. What can be asserted w/o evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

As of now these are just empty words. He called out trump for inciting 1/6 & then voted to acquit. Polio is personal for him but it still wouldn’t shock me to see him fold & vote to confirm.

100%. Also read the book to know far more about them & more Black women at NASA at the time. One thing I learned in the book is Mary Jackson was more badass irl than movie shows. When she took position to promote women scientists at end of career, she voluntarily took decrease in pay and stature.

Yes, & it’s terrifying. I remember reading a news article during the 2015 measles outbreak in CA on ER docs w/ 20 years experience who had difficulty recognizing it as they’d never seen it. That is proof positive of vaccines success. A lot of people are about to become serious ill and many will die.

As a science person I too love watching them. While I don’t say that sounds right I always get a laugh and have a good time watching. It’s just a movie and all in good fun.
