Chris--thanks for some good information. I have one concern about your article. Do you think that Trump's and other Republicons "threats" are actually viable or simply scare tactics? Your article did little to assuage readers that this could simply be a scare or intimidaton tactic.

I don’t think it was staged although Trumpster certainly took advantage. The kid was not an experienced marksman and couldn’t have missed so closely on purpose.

I wish that Biden would have promoted voluntary price controls on food producers and grocery chains—an executive order perhaps. And then add a condition that if businesses did not comply, hit them with mandatory ones. Nixon did such (mandatory) in the late 60s-early 70s. Questionable results then.
