I've used 27% of my #ClaudeAI usage for today and all I have to show for it is a series of messages where I ask in various ways for Claude to turn pasted copy into an artifact so we can work on it together. All it has been able to give back to me are markdown files that I can't comment on.

I know the story with Harry Potter was that Daniel Radcliffe couldn't wear contacts because of an allergic reaction. But why couldn't the Lily actors wear contacts to match his eyes?

Hard agree here. This is why I don't use ChatGPT. I don't trust them at all to be responsible with AI.

@caseynewton.bsky.social My 7 year old son is adamantly telling me that you can't say "Ballerina Cappuccina" because it means "God is a pig."

I miss the days when the only reason I knew about Italian Brain Rot was because of you.

Found a fruit nearby. Claude was convinced it was a crab apple (even though the inside looked nothing like an apple). Gemini was convinced it was a guava. ChatGPT couldn't figure it out. Perplexity said it was a feral plum.

Perplexity was right.

In Staples for the first time in forever. There are about 7 people in line, all of them are here for Amazon returns. There's literally no one else in the store.

The entertainment industry is wild. Just heard about a guy in the 50s (Tad something) who just wandered by a record studio and the execs thought, "He's good looking. He must be able to sing."

Imagine how often that happened with people who ended up not being able to sing.

Japan has a wrestling camp for kids where at the end they have a show match in front of their parents to show off what they learned. Thought you'd enjoy this.

I'm beginning to question, from personal experience, if those who self-identify without diagnosis as #ADHD may just love weed.

As far as my youngest kids are concerned, there are only two kinds of people in the world: friends and neighbors.

In true "audiophile" fashion, only 5 of the 50 albums are more recent than 1990, and only 5 are older than 1970.

TikTok has never before served me tennis content and just sent a push about the U.S. Open (right when my wife was watching).

Some might say that's because my phone was listening, but that ignores the fact that she was watching on YouTube TV, under my profile at the time.

The wildest thing is this article is so hyperfocused on SEO that it misses the bigger point:

AI thinks about brands like a human would, but with the collective sentiment as the backbone of it. In a world like that, a divisive company doesn't rate as highly.

Having moved from a walkable area to Southern California, how does one find interesting places? If not by walking and just wandering in? Do I have to talk to people or something?

It's kinda wild that people are learning punctuation as a way to spot AI-generated text, not because it's grammatically useful.
