Ex-London Underground and retired back to "The North" - transport, design history, things industrial, architecture & heritage - all tickle my fancy. Postings often link to my Flickr account for more things!
There is indeed the intention to do so. In theory it shouldn't be a problem as the station, as at Bermondsey & indeed Nine Elms, was designed as a plinth for an OSD. The majority of the Central London Railway & original UERL stations of 1906/7 were also constructed to allow air rights building.

The Daleks never bothered me - but the Cybermen did. They could climb upstairs to my bedroom! But yes, it's an amazing space - as are several others of the JLE group.

I'd prefer to say 'challenges' rather 'problems' Steve! We did manage to make some significant interventions and alterations to several of the Listed LU stations (SFAs for example) - tbh any alteration to a station should take its design/environment/context into consideration.

😂 There's 'best' and there's 'cheekiest'. I'll leave you two to slog that one out...! As they say "other online map providers are available"!

But yes, your site is lovely too....

I doubt there's a day goes by without me using @natlibscot.bsky.social maps - it is simply one of the best such online tools - a joy to use & such a wealth of information.
And yes, I'm biassed as I started my curatorial career back in the old Map Room in the mid-80s!
