The period between BBC Royal Charters is currently 10 years..Many Chartered organisations have indefinite charters, some stretching back to the Middle Ages. The proposal for 15 year charter seems timid.. more

The main difference was we were all based at Bush House in London — journalists and programme makers from all over the world supported by an extensive network of approx 200 correspondents in every corner of the globe. Where are they now?
