I write and garden and love my wife while living in the middle of nowhere. It’s a pretty great gig. Used to lawyer, now I legaltech.
(Though it’s still totally ridiculous that he’s sending troops to Memphis and a form of authoritarianism that shouldn’t be accepted anywhere.)

Maybe all of the above.

We’ve had chickens for a bit and have debated adding ducks. They’re better at eating bugs without eating my plants.

So we bit the bullet and got four this week. They’re so much more sociable than chickens, which is very stress relieving. They’re just fun and simple.

The secret is to start 70 seeds, plant the 50 plants that survive your awful seed starting setup, then kill half of them outside because you have no idea what you’re doing. The remaining tomatoes have more will to live than I have ignorance. Works every time.

So a nation of engineers will accept a Curtis Yarvin-style autocracy while a nation of lawyers will not? Seems like the nation of lawyers wins that values race.

The nice thing about my yo yo weight is every other conference people say “Man, have you lost weight??” It’s my self harming form of seeking validation.

Did my wife tell you to ask that? She wants ducks. I assume she’s conspiring with my friends to make me get ducks.
