Thanks Stu - I had no idea who he was either. It obviously took a lot of planning, and I don't really understand why, if you had that kind of time, you'd spend it planning that.

The only thing I remember about Broken News was that Tom Skippings from Football League Extra was in it. And obviously he had the skill to play deadpan comedy, but it was just really disorientating. (I would say like encountering Mark Chapman in an episode of Inside No.9, except that he was.)

My favourite story on these lines is that in the 1990-91 season, Crystal Palace had a home kit that was red and blue stripes, an away kit that was all blue with red trim and a third kit that was all red with blue trim, and somehow got through the whole season with only those kits.
