You can't trust city crash data. Officers do not respond to accidents involving non-debilitating injuries. Accident reports done by those involved aren't uploaded to the State database, which is where the city gets the data. So, I'm calling BS.

Did the researchers look at the frequency of emergency calls? I didn't see that in the article. There are only so many squads in larger cities, and these departments are usually short-staffed.
