I really like @bsky.app and the community but the biggest feature that x has which is so much better is the newsfeed I scroll each day - more varied, more curated and less repetition on topics / posters and their replies. Would love to see some more improvements here to boost usability 🤞

A great overview of the assisted dying bill. I’m pro choice and have concerns that if passed we make it unusable and unworkable (x2 drs and high court judge) for those terminally ill and suffering in the final stages of life. It should be expresses like an organ donor card + in will upfront!
NEW: Weekend News Agents.

Would recommend anyone thinking hard about the assisted dying bill to listen to this one. Kim Leadbeater on her legislation, why she thinks the time is now and the legacy of her sister’s tragic murder.

Listen now.

The website vs app split for Bluesky vs Threads captures the difference in user base and usage patterns beautifully.

Bluesky = knowledge sector workers who have it open all day in a tab next to their emails. “Wait what was I doing again?”

Threads = normies watching recipe videos on the commute.

Just like Henry Dimbelbys Food Strategy this is such a no brainer. Wish we could get cross party support asap to put preventative and cost effective solutions into action at scale. Could also be of great help to our farmers with a long term food strategy for them to be part of!!

We’ve put a lot of work into making Bluesky a healthier social network. This app is designed to give you a choice — in what you want to see, what you don’t want to see, and how you want to interact.

Some tips on how to customize your experience:

I had a try at making this

Enter your handle and it will find people followed by lots of the people you follow (but not you)

It’s hard to argue that the UK wouldn’t be in a better place if we implemented the Leveson 2 reforms! Would also set a bar for social media which is much needed in this day and age
