While doing some race prep yesterday, I managed to snag another PB! Down to a 28:40, 20s below that threshold I was trying to beat. This is a way better run execution-wise than my the 52, but also had many dumb goofs. Still, GGs. Wouldn't be a bad one to leave it on if that's what it ends up being.

And, there it is. After a week of some intense grinding we finally got the sub 29 in Avowed. A major event since this is, 1) probably the most optimized run I've done of the game period across every route, and 2) the final minute barrier with the current route. This can still go ~20s lower, but GGs.

Managed to snag my first post-GDQ PB last night after doing a couple of no resets. Getting closer to sub 29, but it's looking likely that it can still go way lower with a super cracked run. Gonna be back on this today w/ a new method for Estate skip that might be the hardest jump in the game now.

Back home now and settled in. Just wanna throw one last shout-out to those who let me couch for their runs. I'm used to either being a runner or an attendee solely at GDQs, but I definitely had a way more active go this time around, and had a blast in the process! (Even though my voice is fried.)

Managed to, on my very last attempt yesterday, PB one more time in Avowed, down to a mid 29. It's looking like 28 is going to be the final minute barrier for the time being on this route, and gonna be stoked to do that once I get back from SGDQ. Glad I could get one more before I hit the road. GG!

Decided to do some Oblivion Remastered Any% attempts after some Avowed no reset runs and pulled off this one...Probably my most optimized Oblivion run so far besides the 5:42 I got on old route. Super hyped about this one. Might try to gun for a 45, or potentially even lower at some point, but GGs!

A major day yesterday. Started off getting the first sub 30 run in Avowed--my main goal I wanted to hit before SGDQ--then followed that by derusting Oblivion Remastered and learning the new route, and managed to snag WR back by a literal frame! GGs.

Back on the Avowed grind to prep for SGDQ, and got a run with all the new finds almost below the 30 minute barrier. This route is so much harder than the old one despite skipping more, and that's due to a massive piece of tech I'm super excited to show everyone 2.5 weeks from now!

Decided to lower my Oblivion Any% PB/WR today with the new permakey route and we got it down by another 6s. This is likely where the train stops for me since 3X will require a rare type of enemy RNG on D3 on top of first try on PK, but the journey there has been incredible. GGs, and thank you all!

Another MASSIVE PB yesterday in Oblivion Remaster Any%. Lowered this by another 3s with a godlike Dungeon 3 screen. This can probably go down still by another ~2-3s with absolutely perfect RNG, but we're starting to hit to limit on what's doable here. GGs!

After days of getting nowhere and having runs killed by some bizarre Bethesda-styled bugs, we finally got a Glitchless time I'm satisfied with. Pushed down by another 40s into the 41 range. This can go down by a bit still, but this was solid. GGs!

Also the Any% run ended on a bug where the dragon statue was already there, which blocked Martin from pathing to the trigger point for the last cutscene, which softlocked me in eternity with Sean Bean lol.

Went beast mode yesterday and managed to get Glitchless WR in Oblivion Remastered, and right after while doing Any% runs before I had to leave the house somehow PB'd and lowered WR there by another second down to a 5:51. Both can still be a lot better, but can't deny the progress. GGs.

A major accomplishment today: PB'd by a whopping 5s, and pushed the WR down another 3s. This is close to the 5:4X range, which is so much lower than we even considering a week or so ago. GGs--on to All Main Quests!

One hour into stream and we finally got it. World first sub 6 run of Oblivion Remastered. Literally beaming that we got this after like 6-7 runs yesterday which should've been it. Gonna try and push by another second or two but I can firmly say it, GGs!

Folks...we got Avowed into SGDQ, and even got ME3 as a back-up. I've been repping the former as one of the best games I've ran in a while, so I'm happy to be able to do that one on the big stage. And also a big congrats to all the homies that got in! #sgdq2025

Another wild day. After not having seriously ran this category in three years, I come back and improve my old time by almost five minutes using the updated route and some major skips that have been found since then. One of the best runs I've ever done for this game, I think. GGs.

Hit my final goal time (for now, at least) in Avowed today. This can still go down by around another 20ish or so--with 35 being barely doable, I think--but I'm happy with this. If this gets into SGDQ, I'll push further, but otherwise, GGs!
