Been doing technology and security for a while now, still trying to figure things out. Started in the US, now in France, who knows where to next. Currently a Scotch drinker, always a troublemaker. Working at Capgemini, but these are still only my opinions.
Had anyone run experiments on if Grok gives you different answers to the same prompt based on if your account is considered conservative or left leaning? All the faux outrage about DeepSeek propaganda has me wondering if Grok tells you different things about events like Jan 6 depending on this.

I don't remember what the % was in 2017 where I live, but we drove about 1.5 hours for totality, and so many people at home told me I was crazy, because they saw almost totality and it wasn't anything special. For me, totality was a mystical experience.

I see people posting questions so I'll share my experience.

If you can drive/ fly/ train somewhere to see totality for the eclipse - do it. During the last eclipse we drove with a 9 month old from D.C. to Nashville to see it, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

It really is magical.

I don't know how many of you have seen the Key Bridge collapse this morning. It's terrifying. From the first moment of instability to total collapse was seconds. I can imagine what it would have been like to be on that bridge when it happened, or a similar bridge, and I have to admit I'm shook.

Who else is at The Sphere for some pre-re:invent entertainment? @reinventparties.bsky.social, did you make it?

Just landed in SEA from CDG on my was to re:invent. Got to say, the Delta Lounge is pretty good. I'm used to European airlines wiping the floor with American ones in terms of amenities and quality, but this lounge rivals a few of the Air France lounges I've been to.

I'm dealing with monitoring apps for my kids iPads and noticed something. Microsoft Family just added VPN capabilities, Bitdefender pushes hard their VPN, and every kids protection app almost mandates VPN. I didn't realize this, but web traffic seems to be replacing cookies for data scraping.

I finally got tired of his bullsh*t, so now on top of not posting *there* I'm going to stop scrolling there too. I look forward to seeing how things here go!
