Agreed - the tragedies make the headlines but many children are at risk due to the very high thresholds required before Social Care have the capacity to intervene.

Sadly, this has been happening for years with no action. School leaders challenge the parents, the parents withdraw the child. Social Care not interested and no local resource to follow up. Clearly not usually with the devastating consequences in this case but many damaged children.

You can’t manufacture or put a price on fan passion and true competition. They’ve all taken the dirty money and deserve their joyless existence
