I love pro wrestling...NJPW, WWE, AEW, CMLL, AAA, Indy shows etc. I want the industry to thrive everywhere...but my God I hate WWE's constant petty bs to be a monopoly. They killed the UK scene, they killed wrestling in the early 2000's. Wrestling sucks when it's just one company.

In punks original promo he referenced Colt Cabana who punk was friends with at the time. Colt didn't work for the WWE so it was a big shock to reference someone outside of the company. Cena was basically doing an homage to that by saying hi to friends who don't work for WWE
