By far the most positive thing to come out of marketing “designer vinyls” to kids that I’ve seen. Yes it’s also cost-cutting to not paint them but I think it’s always good to encourage creativity.

Fair. There’s some variation in how it’s drawn, but it’s also very easy to conceptualize it as a one-handed sword since for Hellboy, most swords are one-handed.

Fun little thing I found at target. Very close to being a proper micro playset, but it doesn’t quite close with everything inside. If only the items were a tad smaller or the cart a tad bigger.
Super Street Fighter II mini diorama from a toy line called Console Heroes by a company called Wilder Toys. It depicts Ryu fighting Ken on Ken’s stage. Ken is in his default stance and Ryu is firing a Hadoken. Ryu is on the left and Ken is on the right, but the life bar placard at the top of the diorama shows the opposite. The outside of the diorama showing it is modeled on a Sega Genesis cartridge, game label and all.

Absolutely in awe of this excerpt from the “themes” section of Wikipedia’s Bioshock Infinite article. Middle school essay-ass shit.

Gave this a flip through and it looks very much like the right approach. It’s nice to see it exists, but even nicer to see are the pink flags, which signify holds. Our system shows 10, a massive amount for a nonfiction book if this type. Does the heart good.
