The 1 thing I don't like about Rivals of Aether II is all of the Roa1 players who claim the only reason Roa was a unique game was the lack of shields and ledges. It simultaneously discredits both entries in ways that's unproductive and counterintuitive to genuine discussion on what can be improved.

Imagine you're playing olympia and you could call in kragg to throw rock but you could still cover another option as olympia. Now imagine rock hits, you could throw rock again or build off the hit with olympia. You can make your advantage state a bullet hell of option coverage.

It's only happened to me once but they were unselectable! Hope to see this bug fixed soon.

For sure, the people who enjoy the games competitively are a niche that forgets it's a niche. Dan talks about wanting that casual experience but prioritizes the competitive aspect, something no successful platfighter has done before. It's lasting longer then any other nonsmash besides Rivals 1

I think a lot of the platfighter community doesn't understand a majority of ults fanbase is casual only. Even the ones who enjoy the competitive aspect are still mostly casual in terms of your average fcg player. They will never be ult, but they could be melee 2.0
