The 2 Live Crew Is What We Are (1986) - popularized the sound of Miami Bass . Although seen as a main fixture in the Miami #hiphop scene, they actually got their start in Riverside, California (my home town).

This album & 90's Alternative Rock was an absolute cornerstone of the soundtrack to my youth as an 8 year old kid, Siamese Dream was my introduction to becoming a Smashing Pumpkins fan.
