I'll tell you what Fuentes is: he's the bleeding edge of the right-wing. He's the machete cutting the path. He's celebrated. He's winning.

The media environment today is largely propaganda. (And what's not propaganda is absolutely corporate-slanted, at least at the network level.)

But the problem is that the largest and most influential media in this country has been objectively propaganda for al least 25 years.

It works.

There's plenty of media criticism, and to the extent it does any good, great. But I think most of it misses the point.

This country didn't become what it is without Fox News and talk radio and Sinclair, and assorted lackeys, larger and smaller.
