That was always my apprehension with any of the FAs on that Eagles DL.

The problem with announcing it when they did is that, while it may get some guys to the table that they wouldn't otherwise, it also gave leverage away. Now the Colts have to sign a QB for competition, and agents will use that to drive up the price.

Especially when you have Johnny Newton already.

I think if he's back and healthy this offseason (which it seems is the case), he may opt to provide some details, depending on what he was dealing with.

A trade guarantees that you get him. 31 other teams have a shot once he's released. If you're OK with the contract or he's OK with reworking it, trading a late round pick is worth it.

My draft crush this year, but I don't see Ballard taking a LB as high as Campbell will go with the success he's had in mid to late rounds. He'd be an absolute monster in Anarumo's defense.

I'm ready to get hurt again.

It's all I want...

I think Daniel Jones is the move. Good enough to push AR, would be able to run very much the same offense, is apparently a great locker room guy, and could come at a decent price.

As much as the Vrabel hire was the right move, this is the wrong one.

"You know what we should do? Hire the same cockroach OC that proved he's nothing without Brady."

The "Patriot way" is gone. Stop trying to Weekend at Bernie's it. Just let it go...

Where can you stream it? I've only found the option you buy on Prime Video.

Agreed on the GM. Agnew is one of my top choices as well. I'm assuming you meant Ben Johnson (Lions OC)? If so, agree there too.

I've been one of the biggest Ballard defenders, but I just can't do it anymore. There has been something sour in this franchise for the past 5-6 seasons. Something that has been consistently w/ the team for that entire span. We've seen collapses that look just like this across multiple QBs & coaches

"Just gotta limit explosives" Bradley's defense still somehow doesn't do the one thing he says is their focus.
December 29, 2024 at 7:10 PM
I've been a huge Ballard defender, mainly because I think he's an amazing talent evaluator. At this point, I just don't know how you can look at his ability to construct a roster and think anything will change with him at the helm.

For the NFL tackle leader, Franklin sure misses a lot of tackles, especially at critical moments.

Nah....food plays is better.

I really wanted to see the replay on that. Troutman chipped Dayo then released for a route, but somehow Dayo gets called for a hold because he got blocked?

It's getting close to "laugh to keep from crying" territory.

He was one of my favorite WRs of the last draft cycle until he announced he was returning. Such a good WR, but I doubt we'd take him as high as he'd go.

I ended up creating 2 lists, Colts-related accounts and general NFL accounts. Helps keep Colts posts from getting lost in the mass of NFL-wide posts.

Progress from AR and clean playcalling from Shane. He needs to have a similar opening script like against the Steelers. Get him into a rhythm and sustaining drives.
