If you don’t support DEI because you want to keep unqualified people from being hired, you should also be against hiring unqualified cabinet members

We are, at this moment, seeing the limitations of democracy. For Black, POC, Indigenous, LGBTQ, non-Christian, disabled, incarcerated, or other minorities there is no protection --not when the majority decides to only look out for itself. We cannot rely upon democracy alone to reflect our values.
