This Laker team both feels like it would be much scarier in a league without OKC and DEN, but also has a glaring Luka=Prime Harden problem where the stats are there, but him and the rest of the team might not be when the going gets tough

Luka deserves critique…I’ve been criticizing him since the trade, and all my friends think I’m crazy…the lack of efficiency on both ends would get any other player benched…I think he played some of his cleanest offensive games of his Lakers tenure during the playoffs, but his defense was exposed

And at certain points, adjustments need to be considered…meaningful Gabe minutes? Test out Knecht? Try Hayes in Gobert/Randle lineups (keep Jax away from Naz)? I won’t point everywhere, cuz the above all sound like bad ideas, but watching Vandy and DFS get shellacked inside for 3 games wasn’t great

Honestly, the lack of decent rim stopper is a considerable problem, but there were many times the Lakers swung the door open to Minnie with otherwise sufficient offensive efforts…in short, it never felt like the Lakers gave a sh*t 😅
