Definitely not great, but the way some people talk about him you’d think he was out there McCarthying it up. Last night was as bad as I think I’ve ever seen him play, but still don’t get the calls to bench him. Just needs to tone down the aggressiveness a bit because his zip is clearly not back yet.

Pie discourse > Eli HoF discourse

If it comes in a pie crust and you cook it in the oven it’s a pie… and probably delicious.

I hate Aaron Rodgers as much as the next fully functional adult, but he’s a Hall of Famer. I don’t even really like Eli but I think he’s one too.
November 25, 2025 at 10:36 PM
It happened during the game
November 25, 2025 at 8:50 PM
I’m pretty sure the law of the playground says he’s banished for life
November 25, 2025 at 8:35 PM
He actually has really high level short area burst which comes in handy behind that line.

Dude’s a fucken astronaut. C’mon.

Oooh I got screen shotted! I feel honored. I just wish it had been something I have a stronger opinion about like the DPI under throw rule.
November 25, 2025 at 4:11 PM
He should be in. I don’t care what the stats say. The story of the NFL from 2004 to whenever he retired can’t be told without Eli.

That 2022 team had a lot of really fun to think about what ifs. What if Lance never got hurt? If Jimmy finished the season? If Purdy was a normal 7th round pick?

And some not so fun what ifs later on.
November 25, 2025 at 3:45 PM
By the league? Both. But Morhrig now has a stain he’ll carry for the rest of his career.
November 25, 2025 at 11:05 AM
Also the fire Shanahan truthers are way more annoying than the fire Sirianni truthers. Did you know Kyle is personally responsible for every weird Niners injury the last few years?

If the 49ers lose on a missed field goal tonight I will blame this post and pray that every dog in your neighborhood takes a dump on your lawn.
November 24, 2025 at 1:53 PM
I think some people are just hard wired to want to tear everything apart at the first sign of imperfection.
November 24, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Is there a more fun bad quarterback than Jameis… ever?
November 23, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Last week he played the whole game at 1.5 speed. Perhaps he’s over-correcting today.
November 23, 2025 at 7:36 PM
We should call this Nick Mullens rule.
November 23, 2025 at 4:10 PM
Usually I’m at least a little upset when I hear the Niners are moving on from important players (Deebo, Armstead recently), but reading the headlines yesterday felt similar to slapping that last blue book down on the professor’s desk at the end of exam week.
November 23, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Be careful. Studies have shown that if you bet on Browns v Raiders, your loved ones will want nothing to do with you.
November 23, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Yeah I’ve heard of teams trying recoup guarantees, but I thought they could only do it if the player in question goes full Antonio Brown.
November 22, 2025 at 12:29 AM
What does it mean to void guarantees? I thought teams couldn’t mess with guaranteed money.
November 22, 2025 at 12:04 AM
He’s a legend in Ninerland for the time he transmogrified into prime Aaron Rodgers for a meaningless Monday night game against the Raiders.
November 21, 2025 at 10:54 PM
Nick Mullens has carved himself a damn fine career being just good to hang onto the 53rd roster spot. It’s good work if you can get it.
November 21, 2025 at 10:46 PM
No it was that bad. But he can still get good if he first learns to stop playing at 1.5 speed and just like… throw it to the Vikings’ awesome receivers.
