More students (and teachers) should grasp this concept. School is a great thing, to be sure, but so is learning on your own. If we can bring that type of learning into our schools… oh, what a time we could have.

Thoughts on why avoiding the inevitable is not so easy and often fruitless. You don’t have to dive in all the way, but blocking and banning (i.e. cellphones in classrooms) doesn’t really work. At least, not the way you’ll want it to work.
