The freezing of medical aid to poor people around the globe is like Stalin's imposition of famine upon Ukraine. The people who are doing this foul thing will spend their senior years waking up at night, screaming with guilt. They will carry shame beyond the grave.

As a pilot, I often landed on runway 33 at DCA. It was safe. Why? Fine controllers. Enough of them. Modern life is technical and complex and requires skilled government workers. Luckily, through tough times, many remain. To them: You are appreciated. Please stay, or catastrophe will become common.
