Musk and Trump are attacking the agencies that are the furthest from having an immediate, unpleasant impact on the lives of ordinary american voters (which is logical). But if Air Traffic staff call in sick, and postal workers refuse to pick up mail- that's when the country might wake up...

As a public servant outside of the US I'm curious- why no collective action strike? If my colleagues were being treated so appallingly in a sister agency I would down tools immediately in solidarity. What is preventing this?
