#Linux obsession continues. Blazing through all the wm's. Hyprland took over for qtile a few months ago, now I am on DWM and it is hands down my favorite. Think I will give dwl a chance next. Why not? I will wait a bit though.

I get borrowing snippets of config files to learn . . . but to just grab someone else's #hyprland dot files and use them will make it painful to troubleshoot. Better to suffer the learning-curve and do it yourself. That way you know exactly how to fix anything that might come up. Hyprland is easy.

Having fun during this mucky weather on #Linux configuring #Hyprland and #Waybar. Gives me plenty of opportunities for scripting. Kind of sick I enjoy that isn't it? #Hyprscroll to boot. I do think #Pyprland is a bust though. It seems redundant and clunky. #hyprscroller for the scrolling workspace.

Time to figure out how to make Bluesky a complete replacement for facebook. I do like being able to talk to friends and find subjects in common but the garbage of facebook now quite clearly outweighs any benefit by a "country mile".

I am starting a blog. . . a casual guide to #Hyprland for #LInux. The documentation for Hyprland is wonderful. They give you all the tools you need to create a unique and functional environment. The goal of the blog will be to explore the possibilities and promote a more organized configuration.

I like Linux, I don't understand the tribal attitude around it though, it is an operating environment. I also don't understand people spending their time trying to sell people on Linux . . . only to tell them to RTFM when they do try it out, or yell "do i look like google?"

Any #Linux nerds out there hung up on #hyprland lately? Been messing with it for about 4 months now and feel I have it under control . . . at least untile the next update ;). If you are currently stuck on anything I may be able to help, maybe not . . . but I can always try.
