The 35th anniversary reissue of Lush’s “Gala” compilation. It brought together a mini LP and two EPs along with two more songs for the U.S. and Japanese markets in 1990. But the reissue splits it all up again on vinyl with the two bonus tracks on 7”. I needed some beauty this week. 🩷💙🩶💛

They carved a lot more out of my arm than I was expecting. The sutures are pretty cool though. They kind of look like my tattoo. But I’d like whatever body phase I’ve been in this year to be OVER.

Got to see Belly do their second album, “King,” front to back but also a second set of songs including one of my faves of theirs… a b side from that album era. “I’m holding out for a spaceman.” 💫 (“Spaceman” live at the Paradise in Boston 10-23-25)

A dreamy Fazerdaze show in Boston. Been waiting a while to see them & lucky me, they did some headlining shows this past week. A clip of them performing “Cherry Pie.” Thanks for making all the effort to travel across the U.S. from Aotearoa / NZ. “Soft Power” is one of my faves of the last year. 🍒✨

It’s the 30th anniversary of “Showgirls”! So glad Elizabeth Berkley created merch to coincide with it. I once had a boyfriend who asked for her autograph on my behalf & he didn’t even read it til later. We’re still friends and yes he’s attractive lol. It’s the only celebrity autograph I’ve kept. 🥂🌋

On the anniversary of David Wojnarowicz’s death, the new edition of this book landed in my mailbox. This in particular inspired my own writing/art projects in many ways. Sometimes it feels like his memory is becoming a way to sell product. But nothing can erase the visceral fire of his creations. 🧡
