Yes, today was the Final Round of Mike vs. The Leaves 2025! It was rather anticlimactic! Only 15 piles and 6 bags, brining our total to a paltry 38 bags this year — the second-lowest all-time. Finally a win for Mike!

Ok, back from vacation and it’s time for Mike vs. The Leaves 2025 Round 2! With faithful Buck guarding his spot, I raked up 21 piles filling 13 bags, bringing our season total to 19 bags! Last year’s record of 75 bags seems safe, given the early leaf drop.

Ok folks, it’s time for Mike vs. The Leaves 2025! An early leaf drop (not good for foliage) prompted an early raking! Round 1 consisted of 12 piles (guarded vigilantly by our pup Buck) and 6 bags. All-time record is 75 bags, set last year!

Always a sad day when we close the pool because it means Summer is over! But when the temperature dips into the low 40s overnight, it’s time!

Boys Night Out in Worcester with my boys Jeff Gross and George Gervais seeing the Woosox win 5-4. First visit to Polar Park. Great park. Had maybe the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had at a ballpark. Met one of the mascots too (of course).
