Ran an excellent 4-mile race in 35:00 2 weekends ago and was delighted with my 2nd place age group finish. Happier now that the guy ahead of me was disqualified, probably for cutting the course, and I have the top spot!

Ran a good 5K race at Governors Island this AM. Bettered 9 minute per mile pace for the first time on this course at 8:45 for a 27:12 finish. First place in my age group. Feeling happy, so maybe I shouldn't watch the Jets?

I found it painful to watch the Tyson fight tonight. He was slow, sluggish, not terribly powerful, just a reminder of the travails inherent in the aging process. I wish we aged differently.
