Paul McCartney talked about how worrying genAI is because it can sound like him but saying it can be a useful tool but then I remembered they used something else called AI to help isolate John Lennon's vocals so they could finish the last Beatles song. Such a laundering scheme.

I've been watching Andrew Dominik's feature films this week and The Assassination of Jesse James is probably now my favourite of those sort of slow moving epics, which I usually don't care for, and Killing Them Softly is just an all-timer for me. That final monologue, maaaan!

I've been watching "The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity" the past few months and despite a bit of a rough dub and being a bit too Sorrycore, it's an extremely cute show about first love and friendship.

I've been watching "The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity" the past few months and despite a bit of a rough dub and being a bit too Sorrycore, it's an extremely cute show about first love and friendship.
Not a fan of new TV shows premiering 2-3 episodes when a new season starts. If it's a 22 minute 24 episode season, fine, but these modern streaming shows that range from 40-80 minutes an episode? Frustrating.

RIP to a legend, Tatsuya Nakadai. I just rewatched Yojimbo and Sanjuro last week. Menacing in the first, cold evil in the latter. And the righteous anger in Harakiri. Wonderful actor, he will be missed.
