The problem isn’t that people don’t understand that. It’s that there are plenty of people who agree with this. They want this. This is what they voted for.

How do we win a battle of ideas when at least 1/3 the country is comfortable with this?!

Remember when people actually thought she was a serious person?

Is there any world where this is even partially true?

I get the optics are awful (they really, truly are) but is it possible he had a rationale for voting to keep the government running?

I’m not siding with Schumer here - really I’m not. But for those of us who don’t fully grasp this maneuver: is there any world where he was right to do what he did? He said something to the effect of it would make it easier for Trump/Doge/Musk to dismantle government agencies if they shut it down

It seems to be taking hold all over - and I still don’t get it. I clearly have a huge blind spot here as none of this makes any f’n sense to me.
