Standouts: Alone, Anything
A solid pop rock EP that blends synths with loud guitars and catchy choruses. Reminds me of The Killers with a sprinkle of Blink. Promising, hopefully with more variety on future releases.

I got Chumbawumba'd. The opening song is a killer rap / indie funk track - there's a reason he uses it in all his ads! But the rest of the album is a jumbled mess of styles that doesn't quite coalesce. Maybe his newer material is more focused?

Standouts: Seal of Saturn, Long Way Gone
Remember when there was an avalanche of "acoustic emo" artists in the wake of Dashboard? Songs I Wrote is the best version of that. Great songwriting and excellent harmonies.

Standouts: Carousel, Mayday
I've been getting ads from this band for years, so I finally checked them out. Paramore comparisons are apt, but with an 80s metal influence on the guitar work. Overall a little too "produced" for my taste.
