I did that too, and rattle cans are expensive. Think about how many kits you will be able to afford when a jar of paint costs you $4 and you can paint 5 kits with it? It is an investment, but it was maybe the single best purchase I ever made.

Ha!, that's why I stick to the smaller scales myself, but there are always exceptions to be made.

PG's are fun but man are they work. I like being able to dive into a kit without having to figure out the logistics of all that plastic. Outside of the PGU and the Zaku I am building now there isn't much in that line for me.

I hope you can pick up the Nu if you decide too.

Have you looked at the RG's? Is it the lack of detail from HG's? Or just the format of 1/144th scale?
