Why does it take 3 years and a 3 month trial to convict the man who stabbed Salman Rushdie when it was done in full view on a public stage? I agree with due process but this seems like overdue process.

Canada really needs to develop and strengthen ties with their democratic allies. The world needs fewer "strongman" leaders and more rational ones.
