We played Isle of Sky yesterday and to say there was an imbalance of cash in the game would be a significant understatement. I was poor but won in a major victory for the little people! :)

Busy weekend so far, well, game wise. A losing Friday, we couldn’t beat Mist over Carcassonne or Bandito.

From the wonderful #bgstats which tracks our games playing we have our 2023 stats so far but with 2 weeks leave coming up this is likely to change a lot and ticket to ride plays combined would be way top of the list we think.

Over the weekend we played Patchwork, Venice, Century (all 3 Golem editions) and Ticket to Ride India. Enjoyed them all although. Venice was very clearly the most difficult we played for the first time.

Over the weekend we played Patchwork, Venice, Century (all 3 Golem editions) and Ticket to Ride India. Enjoyed them all although. Venice was very clearly the most difficult we played for the first time.

Game collection has now grown to approaching 200 with about 80 games coming from Kickstarter over the next 12 months. Considering we only really started this hobby less than 12 months ago, I think that’s quite a start and we only have maybe 10 games in the probably won’t play again category.

Added 11 Games to our collection yesterday. Tried to play 3 but found two almost impossible to play for very different reasons. One poorly designed and impractical and one badly written manual that left more questions than answers. But enjoyed the 3rd and finished off with a game of Patchwork.
