What is an Ent doing in inner-city Birmingham?

It's going to be a hot start to the season for the 1000+ strong Blue Army at Woking. Better than getting wet on our uncovered terrace but we will need the sun screen

At least Jenrick knows about travel fraud from personal experience.

It's a joy to look up at the clouds, but something not shared by so many posters in the other place. When they look up, they only seem to see chemtrails, evidence of 'dim the sun', and other conspiracy-fed nonsense.

It needed a goal difference better than Liverpool's to get auto promotion from the NL this season. Our progress next season will depend a lot on decisions Hughes makes about strikers. Kelly plus Scott (if he can get in the manager's good books) are a start but we need another couple, in form and fit

Three of these four will still be with us in the NL next season. I expect one of them (or Rochdale) to take the automatic slot, and the others to be in the play-off places. Question is whether we can sneak into one of the other two play-off places. If Hughes stays, that should be his minimum target.

40 years ago today, 56 fans perished in the Bradford fire.

Argh! Is it a chemtrail, is someone trying to 'dim the sun', or poison me, or turn me woke? No, actually, it is probably an A350 on its way from Heathrow to New York.

Two great opportunities to get out on your bike with family members and friends. 2 May round the city centre and 11 May from the MAC.

Very sad news about Joe Thompson

Went on the first 'Circle the City' bike ride yesterday. Great fun and an indication of what Brum would look and feel like, if cycling was as popular and facilitated as it is in Amsterdam or Paris.

Dave Rogers and Banner Theatre leading the crowd in rejecting Farage and all his works, whilst a bunch of bald old white men, meeting at the Utilita Arena, dream of taking us back to the 'good old days' in grim, miserable 50s Britain.

We've got one third of the trio of strikers who got Notts out of the NL. Can Kelly & Wyke deliver the Langstaff & Rodrigues numbers? Think Scott & Kelly should start all the remaining games this season to try to get them in the scoring habit.

The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. A stark reminder of the consequences of letting populists like Farage & Trump persuade people that all their problems are caused by those who are 'other'

In Berlin and going to visit the Holocaust memorial. Of particular resonance currently, with Musk & Vance's support for AfD

Shows that the Prevent training that school staff & Governors are required to undertake was very effective in this case. Real shame that the three referrals by schools were not followed up correctly to prevent this tragic outcome.
