I’m the same I think - ever so slightly felt the most meaningful by the end, though I’m anxious to watch the first one again. The third refines everything technically and is such a hard to argue with gut punch, but the least hawksian hangout-y. Perfect trilogy and I love how they tonally differ.

Do you have a favourite of the trilogy? (Extremely excited for this to be more available in the UK - a Hou reference maybe now quadrupling this excitement 😭)

Moving it well out of view on my OS seems to have helped untrain my brain from automatically checking it (know I should just delete). I don’t so much deal with death threats though. Take care 🙏

To be fair the real reason was Bowie being unavailable due to the illness being kept private. His Leto comment there seems like a just-trying-to-be-nice situation.

Don’t know what critic said it originally, but a filmmaker getting any movie made, nevermind played in theatres, is an impossibly tough achievement that deserves to be met with a fundamental respect. Though if people are still passionate it’s better than an altogether anti art attitude about it.
