This seems like a good opportunity to complain about LED replacement bulbs for relatively harmless interior lights. They are almost universally poorly designed electronically for use in a car. The resistor is always too weak, and they're inevitably burned up by voltage spikes.

The purpose of this is almost certainly to reduce FAA "interference" in SpaceX operations. Particularly Starship in south Texas, where they get in trouble for exploding the vehicle and creating huge hazards for air traffic.
