Spent all of Sunday at Disneyland. Enjoyed lots of Park snacks, rides and shows. Always fun to immerse into a magical world for a time.

Enjoyed a fun, yet very rainy day at Califormia Adventure yesterday. It rained hard until about 3pm, which, while was a pain, kept the crowd and line sizes down. Wearing out rain gear was very helpful through the day.

Enjoyed a fun, yet very rainy day at Califormia Adventure yesterday. It rained hard until about 3pm, which, while was a pain, kept the crowd and line sizes down. Wearing out rain gear was very helpful through the day.

We visited Fort Vancouver National Historic Site today. An interesting look at a historical wilderness business and military location that highlights how the Portland area has changed over time.

Biked to see the 392-foot Rainbow Falls and stopped by a working apple orchard to pick ripe Gala apples.
Also got to see some salmon in the Stehekin River.

Did a couple of hikes, including a short section of the Pacific Crest Trail (where we chatted with some of the thru-hikers that had completed over 2000 miles of their 2100+ mile journey).

A transition day as we completed the Ross Lake National Recreation Area section of the Park. Did a couple short hikes before leaving the north section.
Tomorrow, we’ll go to Stehekin to spend a couple days in Lake Chelan National Recreation Area.

Completed an epic hike to Thornton Lake yesterday. Enjoyed clear, sunny weather, allowing for incredible views of the landscape vistas.
The trail was long and steep, which created sore and tired legs. We were very grateful for the showers back at Lake Ross Resort.
