Our rescue dog, Daisy. (She was being given away in a supermarket parking lot and was rescued by Rovers Dog Rescue here in the UK.)
She's been our girl since February '24 and is an absolute delight.

That's me when I took the Peace Corps Oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
The country I served in was fighting a civil war and a Marxist Insurgency.
I saw enough civil strife to fear what's coming (other volunteers I served with and those that followed us saw much worse.)

When I took the Oath in the Peace Corps to Protect and Defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, I couldn't figure out who those enemies would be.
I never imagined it happening in real life either.
