The rules don't prevent your owners spending as much as they want building a 60,000 seater stadium and developing additional revenue streams to fund investment in the team. Or hiring a manager who can over-achieve with the players he has.

If you sack a manager for not competing on multiple fronts, doesn't that suggest you believe he had a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts? And if that's true, it doesn't bode well. If it's not true, why was he actually sacked? And why weren't they honest about the reason?

Also, we played out the Super Cup final they thought they should have been in based on Xg, and we beat them.

We did build a stadium within the last 10 years so money going out on that is expected, but we also spent £83m on construction alone in the last 3 years. Only Liverpool and City have spent similar but they built new stands. Doesn't align with Levy claims about it being spent on the team.
