CBP agents in El Paso sniffed out a drug smuggling attempt, involving a couple crossing into the country. He had a little over 4oz of fentanyl hidden in a very uncomfortable spot. For reference, 4oz is about the size of a D-Cell battery. Which was lodged.. well.. you know where

After a weekend full of "calls for conservation" by ERCOT, the Texas power grid will be close again today. Doubt there will be panic about the grid, tho. Lots of sun day. The next time we can expect to be told to crank up our a/cs will be on Wednesday.

My package has been on an amazing journey, thanks to the USPS. Cincinnati -> Dallas -> Austin -> San Antonio -> back to Cincinnati (ha ha!) -> back to Dallas. Hopefully, next time it makes it to San Antonio, it will be for longer than a drive by.

Wish I had time to comb through all the Texas AG Ken Paxton (Dave P.) stuff today. But the Uber records stand out. Seems like he stays at Trump properties a lot. I know you have to squint, but I counted once in vegas and four in Chicago (along with a trip to Church's chicken!)
