I made one of John Nelson's cutaway diagrams to illustrate LINZ's 3D Coastal Mapping project. It was just a static image, showing Mayor Island/Tūhua, and the nearby seabed.
One of our graphic designers animated it & turned it up to 11!

ESRI recently published our Global Fishing Intensity layers in #ArcGISLivingAtlas, providing a summary of fishing vessel activity worldwide from AIS tracking data that can be imported directly to ArcGIS. Raise your hand if you want to see more GFW data made available in ArcGIS
