It occurred to me this morning that on all social media, we analyze, opine and clearly iterate issues, but it’s rare that anyone suggests a solution to our various problems. I need someone to tell me what to do to help avoid the impending trumpnado. I’m stumped.

So, back in the 70's and 80's there were a number of campus activist groups: CISPES, CUSLAR, Amnesty International -- trying to get the US to stop backing fascist regimes in South & Central America by writing letters to congresspeople, educating fellow students, holding peaceful demonstrations. 1/N🧵

My partner is recovering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage that happened back on 8/19/24. We are especially thankful this Thanksgiving, as things look really good medically. I’m also grateful for this forum, which helps keep me sane. We fight on with gratitude and hope for all of us.

I’m saving up for fly spray. All these MAGAts will turn into flies in January. They’ll just fly around pollinating turds and bothering everyone. I’m going to be ready. They spread disease, too!

I just deactivated my X account. I was never very active there. I doom scrolled mostly. I hope to be more active in this forum. I feel more comfortable here. In any case, good riddance to what was once a decent forum, but really went to hell.
