I initially read this as the Dumbo Doctrine.

My initial response was to someone defending Ezra from Oliver’s criticism based on Ezra being ignorant. I stated if so, Ezra should try harder.
Ezra may have have great interviewing techniques, but he still is an IYI who believes Charlie Kirk practices politics the right way; and that enables MAGA.

While I think Ezra has terrible takes, I actually don’t disagree with you. This started with Oliver criticizing Ezra’s take on Dems Christianity. Someone then defended Ezra stating he is Jewish and might not fully understand Christianity. I responded, if true then Ezra needs to try harder.

Because Slotkin and the other centrist Democrats listen to Ezra, which does great harm to those fighting authoritarianism. Remember Ezra’s opinion that Chalrlie Kirk practiced politics the right way. Ezra does far more harm than good.

I learn so much from Bluesky. Ezra is not ignorant, he was just asking questions. Jesus was a self hating Jew who did an antisemitism and the Gospels are poppycock. I let my Christian friends know. All that loving your enemies, forgiving others, and turning the other cheek, I suspect is tiring.
January 15, 2026 at 6:15 PM
So Jesus was an antisemite who promoted murdering Jewish gift shop workers. I learn something new everyday. Thanks for the education.

It should be on Klein to know what he is writing and opining upon. His punditry shows that he does not understand the breadth of the Christian traditions and his view of Christianity is by default only white conservative Southern Baptist. Klein needs to study up.

My issue with her is not that she is evil, but she refuses to call evil by its name and actively confront it. You see her as naive, I see a failed leader. Instead, she is a calculating politician who wants to appear moderate to avoid alienating anyone. She is simply not up for the moment.
January 14, 2026 at 4:48 PM
Good to hear. Maybe I’m too negative because I’m rereading Hannah Arendt and her description of how state terror is used by dictators, fascists and totalitarians to cease and maintain power.
January 14, 2026 at 2:08 AM
A fake effort, to run a fundraising grift for a few weeks. If you were serious about fighting for us Durbin would not be in leadership. We did those 8 betray us? Good news is the House just passed an ACA extension for three years. Watch Sen Dems fold again. We are so over Dem establishment bs.
January 14, 2026 at 1:51 AM
She has a new video response out this morning on her Bluesky account. She is moving in the right direction, but in my view still disappointing. Will never understand elected Dems unwillingness to call out Trump’s abuses. Their Third Way/centrist takes is not what we need.
January 14, 2026 at 12:25 AM
Shouldn’t take a public assassination for her to realize ICE is an armed force whose purpose is to inflict terror on those who oppose Trump. Her refusal to speak with moral clarity about ICE provides political cover for those using state violence to suppress dissent.
January 13, 2026 at 9:45 PM
Bipartisan wow! That ought to distract from the daily violations of the Constitution and law both domestically and abroad by your Republican allies. Too bad you lack the moral courage to even acknowledge or address the real crises that confront Americans. At this point you’re beyond parody.
January 13, 2026 at 3:19 PM
You voted to confirm the puppy killing Nazi Barbie to head a paramilitary force which is being unleashed on American cities that are disliked by Trump. As every day citizens risk their lives to confront his lawless abuse of power at home and abroad, you collaborate with him. Fight for us or resign.
January 11, 2026 at 2:24 PM
Like Sinema, but somehow worse.
January 11, 2026 at 10:25 AM
Why are you minimizing Trump’s violation of the US Constitution and international law as being mere distractions? Destruction of a law based social order both at home and abroad is the paramount issue. You and your Dem colleagues are clearly not up to the moment.
January 9, 2026 at 10:03 PM
You can sell drugs as long as you kick up a share to Trump
January 3, 2026 at 12:48 PM
So Dems messaging is done on a Nazi platform filled with Russian bots. Going on X is like going on Fox News.
December 18, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Funny, how supporting an ongoing genocide against one’s family, friends and community will lead them to want to punish you and vote against you. Dems, like Kos, should be begging for their forgiveness, not treating them with scorn.
December 10, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Tip their hand? What prevented dems from opposing an ongoing genocide then? What is preventing them from doing so now? Why won’t they now? Watch the dems vote for the Defense spending bill which allow more weapons Israel.
December 9, 2025 at 11:43 AM
So Harris, Kos and you wanted to win Arab votes by arguing that Biden/Harris’ support for a genocide would somehow be slightly less worse than a Trump’s. If you want to win votes you need to stand against genocide, and not argue that we would murder your extended family less horribly. Just my take.
December 9, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Harris’ refusal to call out an on going genocide cost her Arab votes. Plain and simple. Kos and other progressive pundits ignore that reality and instead choose to engage in perverse from of victim blaming. Harris refused to say she would end the genocide and that lost her their votes.
December 9, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Kos blaming Arab voters for Harris’ failure is an obnoxious bad-faith take. It was Harris’ refusal to end Democratic support for the Gazan genocide that lost Arab voters. That allowed Trump to sell his lie that the he end the war and thus the ongoing genocide on day one. What did Harris offer?
December 9, 2025 at 1:25 AM
You are clearly not up for the moment. Stop whining and start fighting. Trump is a rapist who tried to over throw an election, and you want to somehow have good faith discussions with his minions? Quit playing the fool.
December 8, 2025 at 1:35 PM
Yet, the Democrats gave up all their leverage to prevent this disaster. Americans will lose access to healthcare, and some will die. Why is Schumer and Durbin still in leadership?
