Had my mom's celebration of life today and found out that my step-cousins couldn't be bothered to show up despite the years they went to their parties, open houses, weddings. One would come over couple times a month and play cards these SOBs couldn't be bothered to give two hours of their day

My sharpei might have something wrong with her kidneys though the last kidney test had a creatinine of 1.4 which is the cutoff for normal according to their lab

In years past, I would be baking sugar cookies, chocolate chip, and others and making chocolate covered cherries, bourbon balls but this year I haven't nor have I watched the traditional shows. Maybe next year will be different

Burned my fingers using the moka pot and I'm assuming I overfilled the water reservoir and well...it erupted taking it off the burner
