I'm struggling to understand who this article is for. Is Mike suggesting Drakeford doesn't understand this? Or that a conversation with his own Finance Secretary is best done through the press? I'd love articles that simply tell us what MSs are doing, how it will improve our life and by when.

Start here. In Wales, approximately 22% of the population lives in relative income poverty, a rate that has remained stagnant for two decades and is the highest in the UK. Child poverty is particularly high, affecting over 30% of children, and deep poverty has worsened.
